Does anybody have any ideas?Įdit: I did try swapping the connectors from the brake and gas and the software still only registered the brake input (which was the gas pedal) so I really don’t think it’s a potentiometer issue. Welcome to the Logitech G subreddit This is the place to talk about Logitech G hardware and software, pro gaming competitions and our sponsored teams and players. It is now at a point where the brake still works perfectly and if I press the clutch REALLY hard, I can see it just barely register in the control panel. I have even tried the different modes for the different pedal types. I also did a firmware update (after figuring out that annoying process). I tore apart the pedals and verified that the wiring is fine. However even in this mode nothing would register in the software or a game. The closest I got was I somehow ended up in a mode where the mode light would change colors when the clutch was pressed. I put my wheel into every mode known to the internet to no success. For me, this gives me a much more realistic centering effect. If you do the above should come to a resolution quicker. ![]() Film it and send into thrustmaster support with your invoice, address and description of everything youve done to try and fix. In Control Panel, I set my forces to 75 and everything else to max, including Booston. It what I would do is use the thrustmaster control panel program to see it happen. The FH in-game centering is weak/if non-existant. I figured it was weird do I opened up the TM control panel (I’ll never complain about Logitech’s control panel again after having to deal with this garbage) and sure enough, I had no gas or clutch inputs. For best results in FH5, in the Thrustmaster Control Panel, do NOT select 'by the game' in auto-centering. Everything worked fine until all of a sudden I went to start a race in Assetto Corsa and had no acceleration. I spent yesterday and this morning playing various games and getting the feel for a sim rig. Device is now working properly with no other changes other than using a USB 2.0 port.Yesterday I picked up a used t300rs wheel and pedals from a friend. This is the service that is being launched - Įdit 3: Found a thread where someone said their wheel only worked in USB 2.0 ports.and that worked for me. I attempted to have it launch in Administrator + compatibility mode, but that did nothing. It immediately launches when the wheel is plugged in. But when I attempt to update the firmware, it can't.Įdit 2: This is the process that once killed will allow the control panel to open. The firmware updater also can see the wheel now, and also shows version 0. It is also available under Apps > Thrustmaster: Your shifter should appear under the name T500 RS Gear Shift. This will bring up the Search function, giving you access to the Game Controller Control Panel. Even more bizzarely, my firmware is showing 0. From the Start menu, start typing the words Control Panel. The control panel shows the wheel turning and its position, brake and gas being pushed as well as all the buttons.but when I go to test forces and click on any of them, they do nothing. I got the control panel to open - there was a thrustmaster process that seemed to be hogging up the wheel, killing it then allowed the control panel to open. I updated the firmware (I received it on firmware 31, and the most recent is 34) and hoped that would fix it, but seems to have done nothing.Įdit: Issue just keeps getting weirder. In this guide Ill walk you through everything you need to know about using your Thrustmaster wheel on the PC. I plugged it in to my laptop with Windows 10 and was immediately able to get the Thrustmaster Control Panel working.genuinely the first time in months on Windows 11 that I've had an issue like this. I've spent several hours researching and poking around to no avail, so I'm a bit stuck. The wheel inputs do work, just with no force feedback (when I go into ACC, I can apply throttle/brake and steer).Īny suggestions would be massively appreciated. I tried running it in Windows 8 compatibility to no avail (I'm running Windows 11, which others have said is supported). I'll click on the "Control Panel" icon, and it'll open the "Game Controllers" Windows panel, I'll click on "Properties", but then the window freezes, and the Thrustmaster Control Panel never loads. I want to use it with my PC for now to play ACC, but I can't get the Thrustmaster Control Panel to load. look at your programs if you have anything related to thrustmaster, right click on it and select uninstall. Hi all, as the title says, I bought a T300 RS (non GT, so no clutch) and my PS5 is currently out of commission. ![]()
